Poets of all ages and levels of experience from Clallam and Jefferson counties are invited to participate in the second annual Rainshadow Poetry Contest. Deadline for submitting poetry is 5 p.m., Jan. 22, 2016.

The focus is to write a poem that expresses your experience of the harvest and the Thanksgiving holiday. Winning poems will be presented at a public reading at Olympic Theatre Arts on May 1, 2016.

The 2016 Rainshadow Poetry Anthology will be available for sale on April 1 to celebrate National Poetry Month.
