Riding the ‘Fossil Freeway’

Paleontologist Kirk Johnson and artist Ray Troll bring traveling exhibit “Cruisin’ the Washington Fossil Freeway” to the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. from Feb. 7-April 13. “Cruisin’ the Washington Fossil Freeway” features a specially commissioned Washington fossil map by Ray Troll. The exhibit also includes panels of whimsical, fossil-inspired artwork by Troll, accompanied by fossil specimens. The exhibit combines these visuals with text written by paleontologist Kirk Johnson, to tell the tale of prehistoric life and death in Washington.
