The next school board meeting is 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, in the district boardroom, 503 N. Sequim Ave. The public is invited to attend and time is set aside for public comment. GREYWOLF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Parents: Have you filled out your Free and Reduced Lunch application? You can do it online through your Family Skyward account or there are paper copies in the office. Please complete by Oct. 4 to prevent any food charges to your child’s account.

Monthly newsletters are sent each month by email and paper copies are available in the office. Update your email address in Skyward Family Access if you didn’t receive one. A digital copy can be found at the school’s web page (gwe.sequimschools.org) above under the “Our School” tab.

HELEN HALLER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Join the school’s Parent-Teacher Organization for a “Takeover” between 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Mariner Café, 609 W. Washington St. A portion of profits go to the PTO to directly benefit Sequim students.

The PTO’s next regular meeting is 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, in the school library.

SEQUIM MIDDLE SCHOOL

Vision and hearing screenings at Sequim Middle School begin Monday, Oct. 12.

SEQUIM HIGH SCHOOL

Our homecoming football game is Friday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m.against Kingston. There will be a halftime show, culminating with the crowning of our homecoming royalty.

The homecoming dance, “A Night in Hollywood,” is 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, in the high school cafeteria. Tickets are one sale now for $15 and cost $20 at the door.

Parents of senior class students, join us at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the Sequim High School library to begin discussions and planning for the Class of 2020 Graduation Party. Email to gradpartyshs@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Sequim High hosts a blood drive from 8:30 a.m-2 p.m. on the main campus, 601 N. Sequim Ave. Call 360-582-3600 for more information.
