Sherwood Assisted Living hosts “Strait Into Summer,” a summer extravaganza that includes live music, a barbecue and foam bubble fun, is set for 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at the facility, 550 West Hendrickson Road.
Community members are invited to join residents of the senior living facility to celebrate the first day of summer, an all-ages event “with a touch of nostalgia and wholesome entertainment,” organizers note.
Highlighting the festivities is Strait Up Foam Fun, a foam bubble machine company, along with the Happy Valley Band, a local ensemble of Mike and Sharah Truett.
In addition, the event features a complimentary barbecue available for all guests, along with a raffle featuring a range of prizes.
“We are thrilled to welcome the community to Sherwood Assisted Living for our ‘Strait Into Summer’ event,” Sherwood Assisted Living administrator Andi Magill said. “Our goal is to create a fun experience where people of all ages can come together, celebrate the first day of summer, and forge lasting connections.”
