Students give big for ‘12 Days of Giving’

For Sequim elementary schools’ 12 Days of Giving, students and families gave more than 3,500 pounds of food to Sequim Food Bank for the holidays.

Greywolf Elementary students donated 2,592 pounds of food, and Helen Haller Elementary students donated 1,287 pounds of food, according to school leaders.

Each day asked for different items, such as a day for a can of soup or chili, a can of veggies, etc.
