Time to ‘Find Your Voice’?

Each year, the Peninsula College drama department introduces the Find Your Voice Play Festival, which includes a series of plays directed by Peninsula College students and written and performed by community members.
Auditions are scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m., Jan. 21-22 at the Little Theater in the Pirate Union Building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition. No advance sign-up is necessary.
Participants will be asked to read a scene (no memorization required) with a scene partner and share a little bit about themselves.
“We welcome a variety of actors of varying levels of experience and we gently take you through the ride of your life,” Lara Starcavich, P.C. drama professor and festival director, said.
“We’ve seen people come through this play festival ‘quite’ worried about the prospect of performing and then, by the end of the run, they have caught the theater ‘bug’ and they’re coming back for more next season.”
