Two Sequim teenage brothers arrested for incest and rape face hearings next week to determine if they will be charged as adults.

Two Sequim teenage brothers arrested for incest and rape face hearings next week to determine if they will be charged as adults.

They were arrested Jan. 29 based on allegations of incidents in their Sequim home.

The 15-year-old has a Sept. 16 hearing. He faces one count of first-degree incest and three counts of first-degree rape of a child. The 16-year-old’s hearing is set for Sept. 14. He faces one count of first-degree incest and two counts of first-degree rape of a child.

The two have undergone psychiatric evaluations. Both are being held at the Clallam County Juvenile Detention Center on $15,000 cash or $150,000 bail bond.

The names of the two teenagers will not appear in the Sequim Gazette unless they are recognized as adults by the court.
