Bright Lights, Cold Day

Sequim High School student Autumn Kessinger, 17, left, helps exchange students Maike Schnitzler, 17, from Germany, in center, and Frid Kaspersen, 17, from Norway, hang festive lights on a tree. Volunteers braved the cold on Saturday, Nov. 20, to decorate Bank of America Park on the corner of Sequim Avenue and Washington Street. For the past 11 years, tens of thousands of festive lights hang in a gazebo and nearby trees for the holiday season beginning the week before Christmas. Lights will be displayed through Jan. 1, 2011.  Sequim Gazette photo by Matthew Nash
