Wednesday night fellowship continues from 6-8:30 p.m. through August at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim. The free event is open to all.

Barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs and music are provided. There is basketball, volleyball, a playground and a room for teenagers.

Bring a potluck dish to share, board games, dominoes, cards or musical instruments.

Observations on

Middle East, Israel

Avi Lipkin speaks at

7 p.m. Aug. 6 at Sequim Bible Church, 847 N.

Sequim Ave., Sequim.

He will share his first-hand observations of current events in Israel and the Middle East.

Lipkin is an author and commentator on Middle East events, presented from a Judeo-Christian perspective.

He brings knowledge of Israeli politics and past experience as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces.

Admission is free, although a free-will offering will be taken.
