City accepting civil service apps

The City of Sequim is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission. This voluntary commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. and performs the duties established by state law in connection with the selection, appointment and employment of personnel at the Sequim Police Department.

 

The City of Sequim is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Civil Service Commission.

This voluntary commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. and performs the duties established by state law in connection with the selection, appointment and employment of personnel at the Sequim Police Department.

The six-year term for this position expires Dec. 31.

State law requires that the appointee to this commission must be a registered voter of Clallam County, a U.S. citizen and a resident of the City of Sequim at least three years immediately preceding appointment to the commission.
