The Clallam County Historical Society is hosting its annual fashion show and luncheon from noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Elks Naval Lodge, 131 E. First St., in Port Angeles.

“An Intimate Look at History” highlights ladies’ lingerie and lounge wear from the 1890s through the 1980s and is an entertaining way to feature artifacts from the society’s vast collection — from the firm support offered by a Camp corset to the elegance of a Christian Dior sleeveless slip.

In addition to the fashion show and lunch prepared by the Elks, there will be exhibits and raffle baskets; and artist Dona Cloud has donated paintings for a silent auction.

Tickets are $25 for members of the Historical Society or the Elks and $30 for non-members. The number of tickets is limited and must be purchased in advance.
