Blood drives

The art of

music and dance

Aspire Academy of Expressive Arts students will perform three recitals Dec. 12-14 at the Sequim High School auditorium. Friday’s 7 p.m. program features more than 50 students and faculty playing a variety of seasonal pieces, the Aspire children’s choirs and trio, and harpist Katie Rose. Saturday and Sunday recitals, starting at 3:30 p.m., feature ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and cheerdance students, as well as the Aspire children’s choirs and trio. Performances are open to the public. December book sale scheduled

Friends of Sequim Library’s December book sale will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the building behind the library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim. Call 683-1161.
