Quinn O’Neil, a sophomore at Sequim High School, was named Student of the Month by Sequim Elks Lodge No. 2642 at its May social dinner. The Elks selected O’Neil for her academic achievements — she has a 4.0 grade-point-average — and her active role in school clubs and groups. She plays tennis and soccer, is a member of the band, Associated Student Body, International Club, Environment Club and Honor Society. O’Neil plans to go to college and study for an emergency medical technician career and to join the Peace Corps. She is the daughter of Conn and Virginia O’Neil of Sequim. Submitted photo
