Faith-based healing training offered

Dove’s Nest Healing Rooms of Sequim offers training on healing from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 26 in a free session, and an all-day training for ministry from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, for $25. The training sessions will be at Sequim Valley Foursquare Church, 9090 Old Olympic Highway, Sequim. Call 670-7188.


Justice is the topic of Baha’i meeting

The Baha’i Faith will host an all-denominational meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Sequim Library meeting room, 630 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim. This month’s topic is justice. Call 683-5520.


Patriotism at OUUF

At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, speaker Bob Nuffer explores what patriotism means to the congregation at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road. Childcare is provided.

Nuffer is a social worker by profession, a storyteller by avocation and a frequent speaker. He’s been a lay speaker in the United Methodist denomination and a service leader at OUUF for nine years.
