Daily mother spirit explained

Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 73 Howe Road, will host guest speaker and songwriter Doug Benecke, who will consider how to honor your mother and the universal Mother Spirit in your life daily.

Benecke will speak at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 8. Holding a religion degree from Oberlin College, he works daily as an addictions counselor.

Mother’s Day Celebration

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim, has a joyous celebration planned for Mother’s Day at the 10 a.m. service on May 8. Tenor Carl Kaiser will sing Schubert’s “Ave Maria” in honor of the “Mother” of us all.
