Four teenagers, each under the age of 18, were treated for injuries following a rollover crash near Sequim last week.

Brian King, chief criminal deputy of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, said a female driver was reportedly driving upwards of 90 mph at about 6:15 p.m. on Holland Road on July 5 when the car hit a bump, flew through the air and rolled three times in a field.

“They actually went airborn over that rise,” King said.

One passenger broke a finger in the wreck, while others sustained minor injuries, King said.

Two of the injured were transported to Olympic Medical for treatment of their non-life threatening injuries, reported Ed Evans of KSQM.

King said speed was what led to the wreck and that alcohol and drugs are not suspected.

All four were wearing seatbelts and climbed out of the overturned car on their own, Evans reported, and that an occupant inside the vehicle said they believe the car flipped three times.
