Guild Gives Gifts

The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild recently held its annual holiday luncheon, which was attended by 60 members and guests.

This annual luncheon is in appreciation of the work its volunteer members do working in their thrift shop in Sequim.

All profits from the shop go back to the community and check for $14,000 was presented to Fire District 3 to purchase two CPR manikans, a combination otoscope and ophthalmoscope and three automated electronic defibulators.

The Sequim High School Elite choir performed a program of Christmas songs and was presented by president Jean Janis with a check for $200 toward funding a trip by them to appear at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Each member also brought a gift for a child and Donna Tidrick from Community Aid loaded her van with the gifts to be given to families this week in Sequim. Pictured are Fire Chief Steve Vogel, president Jean Janis, vice president Addie Curtis and Medical Safety Officer Bryan Swanberg.
