Haller’s Legacy Lives on

Marianne Ude, who accepted a check for $2,850 for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for its Soup Mix/Packaging program at a recent Albert Haller Foundation award reception, show the crowd one of the program’s food packages. Funds will be used for the purchase of dry bulk ingredients for volunteer team prep of soup mix packages for distribution as a basic need food item. In total, $275,000 was distributed to local agencies. The late Albert Haller established  the foundation to give grants to charitable organizations in Clallam County, with priority to those organizations providing food, housing, clothing, medical care and other programs that enrich the lives of the poor and needy in the county.
