School buses aren’t only good for transporting students to and from school. Organizers of a special “Stuff the Bus” collection of donated school supplies hope to fill a bright yellow school bus between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, in the parking lot at Walmart, 1110 W. Washington St., Sequim.

Organizers of a special “Stuff the Bus” collection of donated school supplies hope to fill a bright yellow school bus between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, in the parking lot at Walmart, 1110 W. Washington St., Sequim. Donations may also be dropped off at the Sequim School District office, 501 N. Sequim Ave., from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, throughout the summer. School supply lists for Helen Haller Elementary, Greywolf Elementary and Sequim Middle School can be found on each school’s website. The group also is promoting the “Back to School Fair,” an event offering resources for families with children ages 0-18, that’s scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Boys & Girls Club, 400 W.
