KSQM fetes July 4 with âBobs-R-Qâ

 

KSQM 91.5 FM, Sequim’s nonprofit community radio station, celebrates Independence Day with its third annual Bobs-R-Q from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, at the station, 577 W. Washington St. The event is hosted by volunteer Bobs, including KSQM 91.5 FM General Manager Bob Spinks; his “Five-0 Radio Show” partner Bob Rhoads; veteran radio announcer Bob Massey; chief engineer Bob Sampson; and tower project director Bob Schilling. 

 

The event opens with a tribute to the men and women of the military, with the American Legion Patriot Guard Riders with Flag Line at 11 a.m. Live music runs until 2 p.m. with singer Kate Lily, The Tyrolean Trio, The Old Time Trio, Aspire and No Batteries Required. The Sequim Valley Car Club stages its annual KSQM Car Show and the  Sequim Fire Department will have a fire truck on hand.

 

KSQM serves free donation dogs and benefit beans throughout the day.
