Jane Manzer, Sequim Soroptimist president-elect, gave a $500 check to Donna Tidrick of Sequim Community Aid toward its Toys for Sequim Kids project.

Dec. 8 was set-up day. The picture below was taken in front of one of the many tables filled with toys and clothing for children. Many volunteers turned out to unload the toys and clothing and set them up on tables designated by gender and age groupings.

Mothers, coming on Dec. 9, identify themselves as Sequim residents to a “helping elf.” The moms then were helped in choosing one big toy, one game, one piece of clothing and a blanket or similar covering per child.
