Members of the Sequim Boys & Girls Club were invited to draw or paint a picture of a working woman they know and admire for the Soroptimist Live Your Dream art contest, which pays tribute to the launch of Soroptimist’s new program – Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls.

All club members participated in the contest and artwork was used during the annual auction and dinner in November. Afterward the art was organized into three age categories and winners were selected by the Soroptimist club. From here the art will be submitted into the national contest in Philadelphia, Pa., and finalists will be posted in an online Facebook contest in February.

The Soroptimists also presented a $500 grant they received for the club.
