P.A. man is sentenced in OPNET case

William Jackson Purkey, 29, of Port Angeles was sentenced to serve 20 months total confinement in state prison on Nov. 21 in Clallam County Superior Court. The court further ordered that Purkey serve 12 months probation after serving his prison sentence.

Purkey pled guilty to delivering a controlled substance to Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team members during an investigation that occurred on April 25, 2012. Purkey’s criminal history includes two separate convictions for second-degree robbery, as well as convictions for attempting to elude a police vehicle and hit and run with injury.
