Clallam County Superior Court
Christopher Ray Ahlstedt – Ahlstedt, 48, Port Angeles, had his trial on a first-degree assault charge from a Feb. 15 incident in Port Angeles moved to Jan. 25, 2010. He also faces a Feb. 8 trial on charges of first-degree possession of stolen property and second-degree trafficking in stolen property. His next court appearance for both cases is Jan. 15, 2010. According to court records, Ahlstedt allegedly stole construction tools and a trailer worth an estimated $20,000 from a Sequim construction site on Nov. 15. Then Ahlstedt allegedly painted the trailer a different color and removed the license plate and sold the tools for $1,000. Since Ahlstedt fled to Oregon prior to his last court appearance, bail was set at $1 million.
Robert A. Blank – Blank, 29, Sequim, had his trial moved to April 12, 2010. He was charged Oct. 13 with one count of delivery of marijuana. According to court records, Blank allegedly participated in the sale of marijuana to a confidential informant during the past 18 months.
Shawn Colburn Germeaux – Germeaux, 34, Port Angeles, had his trial on drug charges set for Feb. 22, 2010. He was charged Sept. 1 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, delivery of marijuana and use of drug paraphernalia. According to court records, Germeaux allegedly bought and used methamphetamine in August 2009 in violation of his confidential informant contract with the Sequim Police Department.
Christopher Lee Haltom – Haltom, 18, Sequim, had burglary, theft and malicious mischief charges against him dismissed on Dec. 3 without prejudice, meaning they can be refiled later. According to court records, Haltom allegedly broke into a Sequim business on Sept. 9, stealing money and causing property damage.
Chad Donald Torve – Torve, 24, Port Angeles, had a bench warrant for his arrest issued Dec. 14 after failing to appear for a court hearing. He was charged May 12 with one count of residential burglary, one count of conspiracy to commit residential burglary and one count of first-degree burglary while armed with a firearm. On Jan. 10, 2009, Torve allegedly broke into a Sequim home with another person. Then on April 6, 2009, Torve allegedly broke into a Port Angeles business while carrying a firearm.
Steven Warren – Warren, 28, Port Angeles, was found not guilty of two counts of second-degree assault Dec. 14 following a two-day jury trial. The jury could not agree on lesser included charges. A review was set for Jan. 15, 2010.
Kristine A. Wilhelm – Wilhelm, 22, of Sequim, pleaded guilty Dec. 16 to one count each of first-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault. She was sentenced on one count to 365 days in jail with 335 days suspended and 30 days converted to community service. On the other two counts, she received 365 days in jail with 365 suspended plus $1,300 in fines and court costs.
On June 7, Wilhelm allegedly pushed her ex-boyfriend to gain entrance to his home, then struck him in the face with a closed fist, kicked him and spit into his face. Then she allegedly pulled out a handful of his new girlfriend’s hair with a closed fist. She also allegedly caused damage to his screen door and the headlight of his car.
