P.C. scholarship deadline looms
More than $37,000 in scholarship funds is available for the 2010-2011 academic year at Peninsula College, but the deadline is rapidly approaching. All applications for scholarships must be on file with the college by the end of the workday on Friday, April 9.
Available scholarships include P.C. Foundation-supported awards for graduating high school seniors (a total of $5,000), general scholarships and program-specific ones, such as those for nursing.
While many scholarships are based on financial need, several are not. Individuals who are planning on attending Peninsula College for the 2010-2011 academic year are encouraged to visit the college Web site to explore the many scholarship opportunities that are available.
To check, go to the Web site at www.pencol.edu and then click on Quicklinks, Financial Resources and Scholarships.
Inquiries also may be directed to the college’s Financial Aid Office at 417-6390.
