Bob Lynette and Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship host a series entitled “Climate Change: Impacts And Actions for Our Community,” on April 20 and April 27. Services begin at 10:30 a.m.

On April 20, Lynette talks about evidence that global warming is happening, the consequences of not rapidly reducing carbon emissions and what local impacts to expect in Washington and on the North Olympic Peninsula. On April 27, Lynette speaks about what is being done in Washington and local communities to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Open discussion follows the service, including conversation about how to convince local leaders to accelerate actions to reduce CO2 emissions.

The fellowship is midway between Port Angeles and Sequim at 73 Howe Road in Agnew (off North Barr Road, between U.S. Highway 101 and Old Olympic Highway).
