Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering an educational series for people facing the challenge of living alone after losing a loved one.

The Survivors’ 4-Week Workshop offers answers to everyday problems and provides resources for adapting to the changes that come with loss. Space is limited, so register early by phoning the hospice office at 452-1511. Visit www.vhocc.org.

The free series will be from 3-5 p.m. on Mondays beginning June 9 and continuing June 16, 23 and 30.

The series will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (Fireside Room), 301 E. Lopez Ave., Port Angeles.

Class 1, June 9 — Financial Maintenance. Phil Castell of Castell Insurance and Mark Harvey of Senior Information and Assistance present.

Class 2, June 16 — Home Maintenance. Kay Rudiger and Harry Gravatte of Gravatte Construction present.

Class 3, June 23 — Self-Care. Debby Smith, RN, and the Rev. Maggie Bourne-Raiswell present.

Class 4, June 30 — Cooking for One. Dr. Janelle Doolittle presents. Potluck will follow class.
