Barry picked for All-State team

Sequim High senior Alex Barry was selected as an honorable mention for The Associated Press All-State basketball team, released March 31.

Barry was the Olympic League 2A MVP, averaging 20.3 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.

North Kitsap’s Rebekah Baugh was named to the Class 2A first team. She was the Olympic League 2A co-MVP, averaging 18.8 points and 2.5 steals per game.

The team is voted on by sports media across Washington.
