Soccer camps slated for mid-July

Michael McMurray hosts soccer camps at the Albert Haller Playfields in Sequim in mid-July.

Camps include:

• U6 co-ed (ages 4-5), 10-11:30 a.m., July 14-18. Cost: $65, 18-player maximum

• U8 co-ed (ages 6-7), noon-2 p.m., July 14-18. Cost: $75, 24-player maximum

• U10 co-ed (ages 8-9), 9-11:30 a.m., July 21-25. Cost: $85, 24-player maximum

• U10 co-ed (ages 8-9), noon-2:30 p.m., July 21-25. Cost: $85, 24-player maximum

The camp encourages one-on-one instruction for a full range of basic soccer skills. Fee includes soccer ball.

Hoops camp comes to Sequim B&G Club

Advantage Basketball Camps hosts a basketball camp, open to ages 6-18, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St., July 14-18.

Sign up for a three-day version of the camp (July 14-16) for $195 or the full five days for $265. Sign up through the Boys & Girls club and receive the five-day camp for the three-day camp price.

The camp offers instruction in ball-handling, shooting, court awareness defense and more for all skill levels.
