Timberwolves place 14 wrestlers at league final

All the hard work, sweat and meeting weight have paid off.

All the hard work, sweat and meeting weight have paid off.

Sequim Middle School wrestlers completed their 2010 season at the Olympic League meet in Port Angeles on Thursday, March 25, in Port Angeles, with 14 of their 18 grapplers earning medals for finishing in the top three of their respective weight classes.

Taking first-place medals were
Sequim’s Zach Campbell, Jesse Eggiman, Teresa Lopez and Quinn O’Bryant.
Second-place medalists from Sequim include Royhon Agostine, Trevor Collins, Joel Dethlefsen, Kaylee Ditlefsen, Brittany Gallauher, August Larue, Miguel Moroles and C.J. White.
Third-place medalists included Collin Haupt and Ryan Hoekman.

Agostine was voted the “Most Inspirational,” White was voted the â€œMost Valuable” and Adam Knapman was voted the â€œBig Bad Wolf.”

Timberwolf coaches are Chris Goettling, Rich Hay and Eric Wiker. Team statistics-keepers are Jennifer Fink, Lisette Garcia and Rebecca Schroepfer.
