SkyRidge sets Winter open

SkyRidge Golf Course hosts its Winter Time Open Three-Person Scramble on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Set for a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start, the tourney features teams with a required total team handicap of 15 or higher.

Cost is $90 per team. Fee includes range balls, contests, gross/net prizes and food. Power carts are $12 per seat. Optional honey pots are $60 per team.

Reindeer run rescheduled

Port Angeles Parks &Recreation have rescheduled their 16th-annual Reindeer Run 5K for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4. Entry fees are $11 for 18 &younger, $23 for adults.

An awards ceremony begins at about 2:30 p.m. Medals are awarded for first, second and third place finishers in each age division. There also are prizes for best costumes.
