It was a busy day for parents, children and school advocates alike at the Back to School Fair, held Aug. 23 at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
Back to school? Not quite yet. But students at Sequim High School and Sequim Middle School hit the hallways last week, preparing for the new school year.
It really was. The weather was great. The people were super. The food was good (and free). The location was ideal. The donations were generous. Everyone was friendly. And the activities were everywhere. It really was a beautiful day last Saturday (Aug. 23) for the Back to School Fair.
Most of the living former pastors of Sequim Bible Church, 847 Sequim Ave., are coming together to celebrate the church’s latest milestone on Aug. 31: turning 50.
Last week was a wrap up and review of our summer’s activities. We started the week with a special speaker from the community who joined us to talk about the concept of “Imagineering,” which built on the theme of “Inventing and Making Things Better” from several weeks ago.
