A grand, ‘Green’ gala raises $65k

The Trey Green Guild, benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital, hosted its fifth annual wine gala, games, live and silent auctions on Saturday, June 5, at The Cedars at Dungeness.

About 228 people attended and raised $65,000 for uncompensated care for families in need.

Double Eagle Restaurant catered the buffet. Harbinger Winery and Damiana’s Best Cellars offered wine sampling.

Guild member Shawnra Cash reported that 619 Clallam County residents were seen and assisted with $600,706 in care at Children’s last year, and Britney Balch shared her story about her son Ashgen, who was cared for at Children’s.

The Trey Green Guild was named in memory of Trey Green. President is Janet Gray, vice president is Erin Green and treasurer is Jennifer Thompson.
