Advisory boards seek volunteers

Clallam County residents are invited to apply for positions on advisory committees to the county commissioners.
Openings include:
Animal Issues
Advisory Committee
The District III and tribal government positions are open, serving three-year terms.
Boundary Review Board
The special districts position is open, serving a four-year term.
Civil Service Commission
There is one position open with a Republican Party affiliation, serving a six-year term.
Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee
Two positions are designated for people with developmental disabilities. There is one open position, serving a three-year term.
Fair Advisory Board
The at-large, 4-H/homemakers and livestock positions are open, serving four-year terms.
Homelessness Task Force
The representative of the business community and homeless or formerly homeless positions are open, serving four-year terms.
Housing Authority Board
There is one position open, serving a five-year term.
Noxious Weed Control Board
The Geographic Area No. 3 and Geographic Area No. 4 positions are open, serving four-year terms.

Park And Recreation
Advisory Board
There are two positions open, serving six-year terms.
Permit Advisory Board
The Manufactured Homes/Mobile Home Association and the Energy Industry positions are open, serving two-year terms.
Public Health
Advisory Committee
There are three positions open, serving three-year terms.
Marine Resource Committee
The conservation/environmental position is open, serving a four-year term.
North Olympic Library System Board Of Trustees
There is one position open, serving a five-year term.
