Wine on the Waterfront holds a "Fish Fry" of an Art Rock on Friday, June 11, at 115 E. Railroad Ave, Port Angeles.
This month’s Art Rock coincides with the "Fish on the Fence" fundraiser for Feiro Marine Life Center and Lincoln High School commercial art, which is happening earlier that evening in The Landing mall.
New local band bdumpbump! serves a smorgasbord of musical styles from hootenanny hoedowns to Brazilian bossa novas, bluegrass ditties to bluesy funkadelics, jazzy jive to percussion jamfests, finger-pickin’ fantasias to cool pop-sicles.
Artist in residence Jeff Tocher, fresh from judging submissions for "Fish on the Fence," is painting a large canvas of the Art Rock event. Art Rock attendees can create underwater glass-art scenes with Aglazing Art Studio and fish for prizes.
After visiting Port Angeles’ galleries and/or the "Fish on the Fence" fundraiser, everyone is invited to listen to the music, express themselves through dance, experience the evolution of original art, and enjoy fine food and drink. The music begins at 8:30 p.m. $3 cover charge.
