Twenty-two riders from Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Bakersfield, Calif., and Vancouver, British Columbia, participated in the second Bicycle Poker Run benefiting the Irrigation Festival and Sequim Dog Park. Riders rode against headwinds to visit seven local merchants and farms to collect the best poker hand.
Winners were:

Second – $100 gift certificate from Mike’s Bikes, Jim Jefferson of Sequim
Third – gift basket from Lord Jensen Lavender, Sheila Eastwood, Port Angeles
Fourth – $25 gift certificate from Port Townsend Cyclery, Darlene McCaffrey of Sequim
All participants received cycling gloves from Mike’s Bikes in Sequim and Sound Bikes & Kayaks in Port Angeles.
Organizers said the event grew from last year and they plan to do it again in 2011.
