Burn ban in effect through October 1

Effective July 1, outdoor debris disposal burning is prohibited in Clallam County.

The ban continues until Oct. 1 unless fire authorities choose to extend the ban.

Recreational fires limited by a diameter of three feet and height of two feet are permitted, unless banned by conditions.

The Olympic National Park and other regulated campgrounds are excluded from the restriction.
