Burn ban lifted

Clallam County Fire Marshal Leon Smith announced the end of the summer burn ban effective midnight Sept. 30. The ban is lifted for Sequim as well.

However, outdoor burning remains restricted under state law in Sequim, Port Angeles, Carlsborg, Joyce, Clallam Bay, Sekiu, Forks and Urban Growth Areas, Smith said. Contact your local fire district for regulation and permit requirements.
