Casey Blake resigns as chamber director

The Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors recently received and accepted the resignation of board member Casey Blake.

Blake, who had served on the board since October 2008, cited professional obligations that prevent her from actively participating as a board member.

Board president Bill Littlejohn is scheduled during the next board of directors meeting on May 14 to appoint Christy Rookard, assistant vice president/manager of the Sequim Avenue Branch of First Federal, to fulfill the remainder of Blake’s term.
