Check fraud arrest by Port Angeles Police Dept.

The Port Angeles Police Department recently arrested and booked a male subject on a warrant out of Colorado for larceny involving bad checks to purchase expensive equipment and vehicles. 

No charges have been filed on this person in Clallam County as of this date; however, a preliminary investigation has revealed information that this person has been passing numerous checks in the Port Angeles area and Clallam County.  It is possible that these checks are not good and an investigation is continuing regarding this issue.

If you or your business have taken a check(s) from a Richard G. Leblanc on a Wells Fargo counter check(s) or any other type of checks you may have them returned as “Account Closed”.
