The National Weather Service issued a **WINTER STORM WARNING** for **CLALLAM COUNTY** until **(10PM**.
**(* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS…SEKIU…PORT ANGELES…AND SEQUIM.
* TIMING…HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING AS
COLD ARCTIC OUTFLOW GETS FORCED SOUTH INTO THE OLYMPICS.
* ACCUMULATIONS…ABOUT 6 INCHES OF SNOW HAS FALLEN AS OF NOON.
EXPECT ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND A FOOT…FOR A STORM
TOTAL UP TO 18 INCHES.
* WIND…BRISK…NORTHEAST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH GIVE WIND CHILL
VALUES OF 10 TO 15 DEGREES BEGINNING LATER THIS AFTERNOON.
BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE SNOW WILL GIVE POOR VISIBILITIES.
