Vision Landscape Nursery’s eighth annual Paws in the Garden: Artists for Animals benefit is Aug. 13-14 at 131 Kitchen-Dick Road, Sequim, and raises funds and awareness for local animal welfare groups.
Recipients of the charitable funds include Peninsula Friends of Animals, Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, Welfare for Animals Guild and Critterhaven Animal Sanctuary.
Artists pay a fee to participate in the event and 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to the animal groups. The fee entitles the artist to a 12-foot by 12-foot space to sell his or her art.
If you are interested, send an introductory e-mail with your website and/or examples of your work, and make an appointment if you would like a person-to-person meeting and approval of your work. Space is limited so contact Claire@visionlandscapenursery.com or call 683-2855.
Polite and gentle pets are welcome on a leash or carried and with dog waste bags in hand on the nursery’s back lawn areas and gravel pathways. Pets must be kept out of display and plant sales areas. Keep dogs away from the kitten adoption center at the PFOA booth.
