Mother’s Day celebration with Mary Lou Sanelli

Author and performer Mary Lou Sanelli shares her newest presentation, “Mothers & Daughters: Breathe In, Breathe Out,” at 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, in the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles.

The free program is presented by Pleasure Boat Studio: a Literary Press, and the North Olympic Library System.

Sanelli is a writer, dancer, public speaker, columnist and radio commentator who has authored numerous books of poetry and essays. She is caring for her elderly mother and has invited Rhonda Curry, a local mom, to participate by reading a piece she has prepared for the occasion. Sanelli will sign copies of her newest book, “Among Friends.”
