Officers arrest 2 for drugs

Detectives from the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team and Sequim Police officers arrested two Sequim residents April 14 as a result of investigations into methamphetamine in and near the Sequim area.

Preston J. Smith, 37, and Michelle L. Knotek, 41, were taken into custody, according to police sources. Both were booked into the Clallam County jail on charges of delivery of methamphetamine.

Both cases have been referred to the Clallam County Prosecutor’s Office for filing formal charges.
