Children at the Sequim Library’s summer reading program didn’t soar through the sky but they did perform on the fly. Performer Holly Gwinn-Graham helped

10 children create an impromptu play. Gwinn told the story while children acted as princesses, pirates and even a weirdo. "Each story I tell depends on what costumes the kids pick and how brave they are," she said.

The last event in the summer reading program, Jeff Evans’ magic, will take place at 10:30 a.m., today,

Aug. 19, either at the Sequim

Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim, or Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim, depending on weather. Call the library at

683-1161 to see which location was chosen.
