Volunteers with Faith Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School PandaMania brought the Far East to Sequim from July 11-15.
A mixture of Asian decorations and items lined the church for crafts, games, Bible stories, snacks and movie times for 90 children in pre-school to sixth grade.
Special events included a sampling of Asian foods on Friday.
Children were encouraged to bring in change for relief group Children of the Nations to provide meals for 25 cents each to less fortunate people.
They brought in $361.28 for the group and church members were challenged to donate as well at their Sunday service. The VBS’s theme was “Where God is wild about you.”
Reach Faith Lutheran Church, 382 W. Cedar St., at 683-4803.
