Pioneer dinner planned

The Sequim Pioneer Dinner honors 2011 Grand Pioneers Ronald Priest and Gloria Jean Hendrickson Gockerell and Honorary Pioneers Morris Quinn and Anna Lee Hermann on Friday, May 13, at Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road, Sequim.

A social hour starts at 4:30 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Grand Pioneers, selected by the Sequim Pioneer Association, were born and lived most of their lives in the Sequim area. Honorary Pioneers have lived in the Sequim area for 40 years or more.

The dinner is open to descendants of a pioneer family or people who have lived in the Sequim School District for at least 40 years. Relatives of those being honored as pioneers also are eligible. Call 808-8641 for information.
