Sequim children gathered one last time Aug. 4 for the library’s children’s summer reading program.
The last event was a performance by the Oregon Shadow Theatre at the Sequim High School auditorium. After the show there was a raffle with prizes to give away to audience members.
Deb Chase and Mick Doherty, the performers, presented the story of Jack and the dragon with shadow puppets. Doherty played music and the voice of Jack, while Chase handled the puppets and other voices.
The library’s children summer reading program featured nine weeks of performances every Wednesday.
