Stuck in the sea

A Subaru station wagon owned by Chris Conrardy, of Sequim, sits in Dungeness Bay on Monday afternoon after it became stuck in the low tide Sunday night. Conrardy told dispatchers he drove his car on the beach when the tide was out and left it when it got stuck, thinking he’d get it the next day. He notified responding Clallam County Sheriff’s deputies that no one was in the car. Chief Deputy Ron Cameron said the U.S. Coast Guard is handling the incident due to potential fuel leaks.   Sequim Gazette photo by Amanda Winters
