Thrown rock damages State Patrol vehicle

A rock damaged a Washington State Patrol car early Monday, Aug. 16.
Trooper Mark Hodgson was driving eastbound near the River Road ramp on U.S. Highway 101 when a rock hit his windshield.
His report states it appeared to have been thrown.
He was not injured but the windshield needs to be replaced.
Sequim Police Department received a phone call earlier about another vehicle being struck by rocks.
The investigation is ongoing.
